FIRECRACKER ALMONDS

DESCRIPTION 
Next time you’re feeling a little peckish, try a handful of these spicy and delicious roasted almonds.

INGREDIENTS  
  2 tbsp Chili powder 
  2 tbsp Curry powder 
  1 tsp Garlic powder 
  1 tbsp Olive or almond oil 
  2 cups Toasted whole natural almonds 
  1/2 tsp or to taste Hot chilli sauce
 
PROCEDURE   
To toast almonds, put them in a frying pan over medium heat and stir them for 5 to 7 minutes until they are lightly browned. Make sure you keep stirring to avoid overcooking. Keep aside.
 
Combine chilli powder, curry powder, garlic powder and oil in a medium-sized frying pan over medium heat. Heat until hot and bubbly.
 
Stir in almonds, tossing until almonds are evenly coated and heated through, for 3-4 minutes.
 
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
 
Stir in chilli sauce.
 
Allow to cool fully before serving.
